T-6002A is a polymethacrylate (PMA) additive used in engine, transmission, and hydraulic oils. It is especially good for medium to low viscosity base oils. T-6002A is a universal additive characterized by high depressant ability and resistance to destruction.
T-8006A is a depressant consisting of fumaric acid esters and vinyl acetate. It combines with paraffin oils. This product is characterized by a high depressant capacity, low consumption, and good low-temperature properties. Regardless of the amount used, it does not affect the clarity of the oil.
Pour point depressants are a group of chemicals that are added to petroleum-based mineral oils to change the size and shape of the crystals that are formed in mineral oil at low temperatures. This allows these oils to be used at significantly lower temperatures by keeping up their viscosity via co-crystallization or surface adsorption. Some pour point depressants can lower the pour point temperature of the wax by up to 40°C.
Pour point depressants are polymers that allow oil and lubricants to flow at very low wintertime temperatures without heavy wax formation at these cold temperatures and enable the oil to remain pumpable (flowable). They are typically used in paraffinic base oils in applications where extreme low machine startup temperature conditions are possible. Most paraffinic motor oils employ the use of pour point depressants. Treatment with pour point depressant (PPD) can significantly improve the cold flowability of waxy crude oil, enabling the safe and efficient transportation of waxy crude oils through pipelines. If lubricants are not adequately protected with pour point depressants, the flow characteristics can be adversely affected, which may have a negative impact on engine performance and protection.

Types of pour point depressants
The effect a pour point depressant has on a mineral oil depends on its type, chemical composition, molecular weight, and concentration in the oil it’s added to. It’s also worth noting that adding too much depressant to oil can change its viscosity parameters at lower temperatures as well.
There are two groups of pour point depressants that can be purchased for commercial use. These are aliphatic polymers and alkylaromatics, however, most pour point depressants belong to the group of the organic polymers. It’s important to remember that pour point depressants have the intended effect only on refined oils and they don’t work on non-refined oils. Plus, these chemicals are not effective in engine oils if the viscosity exceeds SAE 30.
